Dec. 18- Plans are under way for 2008 our schedule will be posted soon.
Sept. 30- While our 2007 racing season has come to a end. Austin finished 3rd in
points at Ransomville Speedway and Haley 6th. We had a very good year with 14
wins and 36 top 5 finishes out of 54 races. The kids worked very hard and I want to
thank them for all the along nights in the shop. We at Team Oakes Racing want to
thank all our sponsors for all the help they gave us through the year.
We would also like to thank Jim Rudolph's Racing Engines for all there help this
season.
August 7- We have had a few rough weeks! We had a rainy July and Dad missed the
set up a few nights but we still got a few top 5's and Austin is still in the hunt for the
JR-1 Championship and Haley is just outside the top 5 in points. Good luck kids the
rest of the season!!
July 15- Team Oakes Racing wants to thank Bob Mason's Service Center For his

June 29- Team Oakes racing has had an excellent two weeks of racing in 4 races
Austin has compiled two 1st and two 2nd place finishes and has moved with in 12
points of first place in points at Ransomville. While Haley has two 3rd and a 4th and
one of the 3rd come in a higher division the Junior Restricted class a great run for her
first time in that class. She also had her best finishes of the year at Ransomville and
now is closing in on the top 5 in points. Keep up the great racing kids.
June 10- Austin and Haley both had good outings on Thursday, Austin won both heat
races and finished 3rd in the feature and Haley finished 2nd and 4th in her heats and
6th in the feature.
June 3- Austin did it again!! For the 2nd week in a row he comes home with the
checker flag and also won both of his heat races. He is now in 2nd place in point just
14 out of 1st. Haley had one of her best days in JR-2 picking up her first heat win in
that class and finishing 6th in her feature. Way to go kids keep up the good racing!!
May 30- Team Oakes Racing got it's first win of 2007!!! Austin bought home the
checked flags on Thursday May 24, great job Austin. Haley started 9th moved up to
4th, then was hit causing the left rear tire to blow. She was able to finish but in 9th
place.
May 15- Team Oakes Racing would like to welcome Scapelliti's Super Store on as a
new sponsor for the rest of the 2007 racing season. For the finest in Deli and fresh

May 14- The kids have done some really nice racing. Austin with his highest finish
this year at Ransomville of 2nd and Haley finished in the top 5 also at Ransomville for
the first time this year, excellent for just moving her up into the JR 2 class.
May 10- We have put together some good races the last few weeks. Both kids have
heat wins at different tracks and have finished as high as 2nd place, looks like things
are starting to come together.
May 5- Team Oakes Racing is pleased to bring on board as a sponsor for the 2007

been around for nearly 50 years and has four Pro NHRA Teams and sponsors Kenny

April 7- We had a very good outing at Race One Speedway in DuBois, PA on March
31 things started out a little slow but with some good feed back from the drivers we
were able to pull out 2 top five finishes.
